Q: What sets Parker & Banks apart?
A: It's definitely our hands-on approach. While our talented artists from around the world create the portraits, we handle the final touches, printing, cutting, assembling, and shipping right from our cozy extra-small extra bedroom in Brooklyn, New York.
Q: How can I ensure my pet's photo turns out great?
A: It's all about getting up close and personal! Make sure your pet's photo is taken in a well-lit area, preferably without filters and in natural lighting. A close-up, head-on shot that shows as much of their ears, head, neck, and chest as possible works best. Avoid overhead, overly filtered, or blurry photos, and remember, we typically can't illustrate photos of pets lying down.
Q: Can I have more than one pet in my portrait?
A: Absolutely! If you'd like more than three pets in a single portrait, just reach out to our team and we'll be happy to assist you.
Q: What animals do you illustrate?
A: Yes, we create portraits for all kinds of pets from around the world. Whether it's a bunny, a bird, a horse, a fish, or something more unique, we're here to make a portrait for you. Please note, at this time, we don't create portraits of humans (no matter how cute they are!).
Q: What if I need to make a change to my order?
A: We're happy to help with any changes to your pet portrait order as long as you contact support@parkerandbanks.com within 60 minutes of placing your order. After 60 minutes, most changes, including address updates, cannot be made. Keep in mind that some changes might result in shipping delays.
Q: Can I preview my portrait before it ships?
A: To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we don't offer artwork previews or proofs. But don’t worry! If the photo you provide isn't ideal for a portrait, we'll reach out to you for a new one.
Q: Do you offer more customized portraits, like different background colors or commemorative details?
A: Yes to all of the above! We are honored to create portraits in memory of beloved pets. We work closely with you to select the perfect photo from your collection. Reach out with any questions for us here.
Q: What if I don’t like my portrait?
A: If you're not 100% satisfied with the final product, please contact us, and we'll make it right. We also offer a redo with a new photo from you for a $10 redraft fee. Either way, we're committed to ensuring you love your portrait.
Q: Can I request revisions?
A: Yes! While we strive to deliver the perfect portrait on the first try, we're more than willing to make reasonable design alterations to ensure you're happy with the final result.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Due to the custom nature of our portraits, we begin work on each order promptly after it's placed. To cancel an order, you must email help@parkerandbanks.com within 60 minutes of placing your order, and we will process a refund at our discretion. After 60 minutes, cancellation is not possible.
